This is an important message on how privilege really works.
it’s good to remember that we shouldn’t only define ourselves by our marginalized identities. for example I am cis, I am middle class, I am educated, I speak English, I am a documented citizen—remember all of those identities you possess that give you privilege.
Always check your privilege. Everyone has one in some way
Is this what they’re teaching in college? If so, then this explains why we have so many dumbasses with a “college education” running around who can’t form simple sentences or do basic math.
She gets it.
Liberals…. It’s not about color or “white privilege”. Whose blood is on the streets? White people. Asian people. Hispanic people. Damn near every ethnicity. If you don’t want to live in a bad neighborhood, then you should probably move somewhere else. Make better choices in your life. The white man isn’t forcing you down. It’s all in your head. Don’t drop out of school. Don’t get pregnant at a young age. Get a job. Stop wasting money on stupid crap like a $300 pair of Nike shoes. You know what’s an injustice? Looting a convenience store that has nothing to do with the shooting and setting it on fire. That’s someone’s property and company. People also work there and they’re now out of a job. Good job, idiots.
